Marketplace Partner Terms

Last updated: 2026-08-12 · Applies to every operator who receives consumer enquiries from skipaki.com — whether on the partner tier or as a full-portal operator who opted into the marketplace. Complements the subscription terms.

Starter content. These terms describe how the marketplace works today, in plain language. The legal phrasing is under review by counsel; the commercial mechanics below are the ones actually implemented in the product.

1. What the marketplace is

Skipaki runs the consumer brand skipaki.com, where customers across Cyprus book skips. Enquiries that fall inside your delivery zones are forwarded to your Pro inbox with the size, delivery date, address and the price the customer has already seen. You choose what to take — accepting is always optional and declining is free.

2. How enquiries reach you

Matching is by the delivery zones you draw in Settings → Service Area (or, if an enquiry carries no exact pin, by city). Several operators can receive the same enquiry; the first to accept gets the job and the enquiry closes for everyone else. Customer contact details unlock only after you accept.

Not sure about access, waste type or the price? Request a clarification or propose a different price from the card — the customer's answer comes back to the same card. If the customer agrees to your price, the enquiry returns to you at the new price.

3. Money: who pays whom

Skipaki never holds the customer's money. The customer pays you — the full skipaki.com price shown on the enquiry — in whatever way you normally collect (cash on delivery, transfer, card).

Each of your delivery zones carries your zone price for a job there — that part is yours in full. The difference between the customer price and your zone price is Skipaki's marketplace fee for bringing the job.

Example: customer books at €250 → you collect €250 on delivery. Your zone price is €200 → you keep €200 and owe Skipaki the €50 difference at settlement.

Your zone price is snapshotted at the moment you accept — re-drawing zones or changing prices later never changes what an already-accepted job owes. If an enquiry reaches you without a zone price (city-level match), the fee for that job is agreed with Skipaki before it enters any statement — it is never assumed.

4. Settlement statements

Completed marketplace jobs accumulate and Skipaki issues a numbered statement (PS-YYYY-NNN) listing each job, the customer price, your zone price and the fee owed. Statements are visible in your portal under Settlements, with a PDF you can hand to your accountant. Payment is by bank transfer within 14 days of the statement date. Only completed jobs are ever billed — declined, expired, released and cancelled enquiries cost nothing.

5. Your side of the deal

Deliver in the promised window and keep the two status marks honest — "skip delivered" and "skip collected" — because the customer watches that progress on skipaki.com. Use the customer's contact details only to fulfil the job: no marketing lists, no reuse after the job closes. You remain responsible for your own licensing, waste-carrier permits and the physical service; the hire contract is between you and the customer.

6. Handing a job back

Plans change. Before the skip is on site you can release an accepted job from the card (or cancel it on your dispatch board) — it goes back to the marketplace for other operators and costs you nothing. Repeatedly accepting jobs and abandoning them, or going silent after accepting, can lead to suspension from the marketplace. After delivery, changes are resolved case by case with Skipaki — contact us instead of cancelling.

7. Skipaki's side of the deal

We forward real consumer enquiries, never invented ones. We monitor unanswered enquiries and chase them so customers aren't left hanging. We answer your price-change and clarification requests. We charge nothing for enquiries you don't take, and nothing beyond the per-job fee described above — marketplace participation has no separate subscription.

8. Suspension and leaving

You can stop receiving enquiries at any time — ask us to switch the marketplace off for your account; jobs already accepted still need to be finished or released. Skipaki can suspend marketplace access for abuse of these terms. Fees already owed on completed jobs survive either way.

9. Liability

Skipaki is the channel that brings the enquiry, not a party to the hire contract. We are not liable for the customer's conduct or payment, and you are not liable for skipaki.com's availability. Our aggregate liability to you under these terms is capped at the marketplace fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Disputes are subject to the courts of Limassol.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes — anything that touches the fee mechanics — are announced at least 30 days in advance via email and in-app banner.
